Help: wireless peer-to-peer?

Hello.

I used to have them connected by 10baseT using a hub, but, since moving, ..., I
internet. Both uses win98. One of them has a usb port and other does not.

I do NOT want wires. They are only 20 feet apart
and there is a glass door that can slide open/close between them.

1: If I purchase 2 wireless network cards, can I connect'em as peer to peer
or do I need to purchase something else?
2: What brand or product do you recommend?
3: Do I need to get a specific type, ie.: wireless-B ? ( what's that ?)
