greetings,

i have the old 802.11b wireless access point (BEFW1154 v2) and broke
my old 802.11b wireless pcmcia card on my notebook. so i picked up
one of the new wireless-g card for ibm thinkpad w/w2k but it doesn't
seem to want to work on my notebook. w2k detects but fails saying
something about not finding a necessary file. i've installed the
software on the cd and have downloaded the latest drivers from
linksys. will this setup just not work?

thanks.
