I have a D-Link 900AP+ set up as an access point on my home network and it
works great. However, I have a Playstation 2 in my living room that I need
to tie into my network as well, using the broadband network adapter
(Ethernet interface). Unfortunately, I can't just slip a wireless interface
card into the PS2, and I don't want to make a CAT5 cable run through the
ceiling if I can avoid it. What I'd like to do is hook up a Symbol
Spectrum24 AP-3021 access point I've got to my PS2 via Ethernet. Then, get
some sort of bridge set up between the Symbol and my D-link access point to
allow the PS2 to hit my network.
I have messed with settings on the Symbol access point to no avail. Can
anyone familiar with the Symbol product tell me if:
a) this is even possible, and...
b) how do it do it?
Worse comes to worst, I'll start pulling cable!!
