Help in the UK

I arrived in Scotland on Friday and attempted to set up a
wireless network at my Aunts house using the MN-700 MN-
820. I acquired all of the converters and adapters I
think I needed to do so. I set it up and first
established a connection from the wireless modem directly
to my notebook succesfully. I then began to start with
the base station, but jet lag set in and I retired to
bed. I unplugged all equipment and unfortunately when I
awoke on Saturday the base station did not "turn on" -
meaning that when I plugged everything in the power light
did not come on. Now, I am positive that it was operable
when it was unplugged and the converter is currently
operable when used with other US equipment.

So, does anyone have any guidance as to what may have
happened?

First check that the power outlet is working (I know...
but sometimes the most obvious is the problem -- might be
an outlet for the lights so was on during night and off
during day)

Check the converter is working. Check that the power
adapter is working.

You can also consider buying a 220-240 power adapter to
replace the US version -- this will eliminate the
converter; any brand will do provided it matches the
input requirements of the router (these are very common
and cheap to get in europe). Look for one with 12V DC
output voltage, same or higher current (500mA or 1A), and
same polarity (you know the +/-) -- the specs are
imprinted on the router.

Hiya!

I'm in the same situation because the same happened to my
adaptor yesterday after two hours when everything was in
place and I had just finished setting everything up. Can
anyone please tell me where I would be able to get these
220-240V power adaptors with the specs of the one MS
provide, and also what about the output to the router
(the yellow point that plugs into the router). Where can
I get them because I've been searching for a long time.
Any other ideas because I'm really frustrated...I'd just
set it up, ready to start surfing in my room, and then it
just turned off!

PLEASE HELP!
