HELP!!! there's signal but no connection

i got the long range wireless card and broadband router
and can detect the router and even my neighbor's
but not able to use mine
is right next to each other too
quality and strength is 100%
but i just can't use the internet
when i switch to my neighbor's one
then i can
he has the linksys 54g something
and something strange is that i can't see my computer
when i use the lan with wire i can see my computer
but still no connection though
and am i suppose to enter the config page on the laptop
instead of the comp?
i try to access 192.168.1.1
only the wireless laptop can able to
when i use my comp and when i switch to lan
i couldn't log in
all of them are under winxp pro
any quick help and response
