We are going to be able to get adsl broadband from Dec 10 - with provider is
best, we are plannind to use a wireless modem to connect the the 3 pcs in
our house?
Any advice?

Which provider is best will depend a lot on what you want.

Do you want a standard ADSL service (ie 512K, 1M or 2M down and 256K up)?
Do you want a static IP or range of IPs?
Do you want additional service (email / web hosting / etc)?
Do you want access to newsgroups / binary newsgroups?

I am obviously biased as I run UKFSN however I do recommend our service.
