Help sharing files on windows 2000

Actually, it's even simpler than that. I installed base
on a win98, and shared files with my win2k PC. Both PCs
can see each other, both are set to share, however, my
win2k PC can access the files on the win98, but my win98
pc asks for a networking password. I didn't think I even
set up any passwords for it, so now I just need to know
what I do to set up the password so that my win98 PC can
log on to the other. All of the help options are too
vague.
