Help with share permissions

Hello out there experts, I posted the same basic post in general and didn't
get a response so I thought I would try here. I recently added a 2003 R2
Standard box into our SBS 2003 domain as a file server and cannot get files
to save to/delete from the share. Here is the basic setup on the shared
folder:

Share permissions - Everyone, Administrators, Domain Users = full control
(just for testing)
Security permissions - Everyone, Administrators, Domain Users = full control

I can map the drive from XP SP2, see the contents of the share, and even
drag and drop into the share from XP. But whenever I try to save a document
into the mapped share it hangs forever and eventually tells me I do not have
modify privileges. The file ends up being in the shared folder, but whenever
I try to access it either locally from the 2k3 box, or remotely from the XP
box it hangs again until I end up having to force a reboot of the server.

Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated, this seemingly simple task
is driving me nuts and the pressure is building to get this thing operational.

Thanks in advance

It sounds like your security context between the servers and clients is not
working.
Is everything using ONLY the DC as their DNS server address?
What errors do you have in the server event log?
