Hi Everyone,
I would like to setup a linux cluster solution
using Redhat Linux. I have Redhat Advanced Server
version 3.0.
As starter, I will begin with just two machines.
These are DELL machines (Pentium III 500Mhz/512MB
RAM). As time goes on, I will be adding more boxes
to this cluster.
I've been reading a lot about Linux cluster but
so far I've not seen any "howto" papers on actually
setting up such cluster. I have "zero" experiences
when it comes to "clustering". I know in theory how
it works and that's as much as I know.
Now that I have a hold of RedHat Advanced Server
version 3.0, I would like to learn how to setup
a cluster solution. I am NOT a linux expert;
however, I have been using Linux for the past
five years. I know how to recompile the linux
kernel and application on linuxs (to a certain
extent).
If anyone has experiences with Redhat clustering
solution, please help me out. If you have a
"step-by-step" howto, please send it to me.
I am a quick learner. You can be my mentor if
you like (if you don't mind that is).
I am sure I am not the first person to ask about
this. Please send all your replies to
(E-Mail Removed)

Please help this newbie seeing the light.
Regards,
David
