Help with poor 2 meg ADSL service

Hi

I have a 2 meg adsl service from Demon Internet, my brother and brother
inlaw have also just got a Demon adsl connection (normal 512meg). Everything
seemed fine but then we got some service issue, demon had an issue routing
some traffic etc etc...everyone get a problem from time to time so no biggy.
We play mp games and I was running a server on my connection that they
connected to, again everything was fine. Now we are connecting to other
peoples servers and find all 3 of us have big problems keeping connected
even for a single game and its been reallt bad the last few weeks. Can
anyone else tell us if they find demon bad for mp gaming and what software
tools can I used to monitor the connection over a week or so to see how well
it performs?
