I am attempting to connect two computers using a
crossover cable. The reason for this is I am trying to
run some diagnostics that are installed on one computer
on the other computer. I have a tech bench set up w/ a
testing computer. I have a client's computer that I
would like to run the tests on. I am assuming that when
I set up the network, the tech computer will be the guest
computer and the client's computer will be the host, as I
will be pulling the info off the client's hard-drive to
test it. When I attempt to set this up thru my network
connections wizard it is not working. Could someone
please help me?
In reading my previous post, I realize I neglected some
pertinent information. My tech computer is running
windows 98 and my client's computer is running xp. Also,
if there is a way to set this up on the tech computer so
I don't need to reinstall this every time. Also, is
there a way to set up the tech computer so that it can
run with various OSs. Any suggestions on how to do this
would be greatly appreciated.
If someone could tell me the process of setting up the
network, I would be forever indebted to them.

Thanks
