Help Please...2k server GPO not applying to 2k wkst.

I'm trying to apply any GPO that I've created to an OU full of
users...the GPO is working fine on XP machines...but is not working at
all on 2k Pro workstations. The same goes for applying a GPO to a
Computers OU.

I have run GPMC and I've enforced the Group Policy and all seems to be
fine with it.

Please help. Let me know any other info I can provide.

the only thing i can think of is that there are some settings that say
"minimum windows xp"
in other words, it will work fine for xp, but have no affect on 2000

Where are these settings that you're referring to? I'm not aware of
those.

This is a Windows 2k Server and domain...only one server, small test
environment.

go into your policy
under user configuration, go to administrative templates, start menu and
taskbar
look at the properties of some of the items. do you see some that say "at
least windows xp or windows 2003" ?
