Hi,
I don't think you're missing anything. It is generally not supported to
have a MS server participating in Cisco OSPF topologies. When you find
yourself needing to do this, it is usually at the avoidance of a better
solution.
What are you trying to accomplish overall that you want the Windows box to
participate in OSPF?
