Hi,
I've got an old G3 desktop mac (with usb ports)....It is
now hooked to my DSL cable....i have a laptop that I am
working on more....I'm constantly plugging the dsl line
between the two to access the internet...I want both of
them attached to the dsl.
I was told to get "Microsoft Broadband networking
wireless base station MN-500"....I can get a wireless
card fot my laptop later....then I saw on e-bay...there
is a MN-500 and a MN=700?? I can't tell the
difference...any advice?...can I also use this to plug my
printer into both the mac and pc?
Thanks

The MN-700 is more recent and provides better wireless
security and faster wireless.

If you don't plan to use wireless you may also consider
the MN-100.

Note that the MN routers don't have a setup for the Mac
and you'll have to do it manually, but they work fine
(well, all these follow the ethernet and 802.11 standards
that are quite common in computers and routers).
