Hi,
I had a fully working MDK 10.1 (OE) laptop (Compaq Evo N600c) connected to
the int (2/1/05), when I ernet via the network card.
The MDK 10.1 is fully updated (actually, the problem appeared first after a
recent update).
Yesterday (2 Jan) I couln't connect to the Internet after boot. I fround
that the problem is that my eth0 card does NOT come up during a fresh
boot- it does not get a (DHCP) IP address nor is it listed in response to
ifconfig (even after issueing "ifconfig eth0").
..
Only manually tweaking via HardDrake solved the problem, only till the next
boot. dmesg did not help me either.
Please advise.
Enclosed please find relevant parts of dmesg output.
TIA
