Help with Lynksys router and netgear router config

HELP! I have a BEFSR41 Lynksys etherfast cable DSL router. I have one
computer in the basement hooked up to that router by a cable. I then
run a cable up 3 floors (though the walls) and I want to use that cable
in my Netgear WGR614 V6 to run 2 computers that have wireless cards. I
believe I need to configure my Netgear Router to an access point? I'm
not a technical person so if someone knows how to do this can you give
me really easy clear directions??
