HELP: Linksys WUSB54G with WinXP Pro Setup Problem

Hi,

I have a Linksys WUSB54G wireless network adapter which I use with a laptop
running Windows 2000 Professional with SP4 or with a desktop running Windows
XP Professional (not Home) with SP1. The WUSB54G adapter is to connect to a
Linksys WRT54G wireless router.

With the desktop running XP, everytime I plug in the WUSB54G adpter, XP
would say "Found new hardware" and would install the driver off the CD that
came with the router. I thought the driver for a USB device should be
installed once only? There is no such a problem with the laptop running
Windows 2000, by the way.
