Help I'm lost in the wireless jungle!!!

Can anyone advise please.

I have two pcs.

The first is XP home with broadband via ext adsl modem.

The second I have just built is XP pro in an adjacent room. I have added a
wireless PCI card to this one in the hope of picking up the internet
connection from my main pc.

I have looked for help on the net but have been unable so far to configure
the PCI card to work. Has anyone done anything similar? I am short on ideas
on where to start or what to do????

Have you added a wireless PCI card to the first PC too? Or is the adsl
modem wireless? If not, then how are you expecting PC2 to pick up a
signal when there is nothing broadcasting one?
