HELP - dns to dhcp question

Could some Linux networking guru please help me? I am trying to connect
from a Red Hat box that uses dhcp to another that uses regular dns,
using ssh. Ftp works fine. I am getting error messages. Could someone
tell me if it is possible to get around this problem, and if so, what
do I need to do? I have sysadmin privileges on the machine running
dhcp. Thanks in advance for your help!!

You could start by posting the error messages (do not
interpret them, post them in the text the computer
gives you). Also, post the command line you used.

dhcp is one thing and dns is a complete different thing.
