Hi All:
I am running into a dilemma with dhcpd. I need to configure
isc's dhcpd to provide IPs for a linux with multiple virtual
interfaces (eth1:0, eth1:1, eth1:2). dhcpd does not seem to
work with linux's virtual interfaces. I have googled but found
no posting with this peculiar problem.
thank you in advance for any help/pointer.

DHCP works fine with virtual interfaces. I've used it myself. If
you're trying to establish IPs on different subnets it probably
won't work. DHCP does a lot with MAC addresses and you may find
you can't do what you need to with virtual addresses. At least
not multiple virtual addresses.
