Help with Creative 8133U-C1 Broadband Blaster DSL Router

My son, who lives quite some distance away from me and is not particularly
knowledgeable about networking, has a Creative Broadband Blaster DSL Router
8133U-C1. Although the Creative web site acknowledges the existence of this
device, it does not have a downloadable manual for it (it does appear to
have one, but clicking in the appropriate place does not bring it forth).

He is successfully using the router but he says that he has to enter the
configuration details each time that he uses it. I'm sure there must be a
"Save configuration" somewhere, but he says that he can't find it - can
someone describe the steps to do that, please?

Also, does one have to configure which of the USB and ethernet ports is
active - if so, how? (I want to get him from an ancient Win32 OS and USB to
use a modern Linux and ethernet. FWIW I use both Win and Lin, so no
religious flames please)

Picture shows a 'Save Settings' item at the bottom of the menu on the
left.
