I have a Belkin F5D6231-4 wireless router that I can no longer log into.
Here's the setup - any suggestions?
I have a Linksys BEFSR41 wired router and the Belkin. I used the
Linksys before I had wireless capability. I switched to the Belkin and
began to have problems keeping connected in certain situations (Skype,
FirstClass server). So now I want to go back to the Linksys for my wired
computers and connect the Belkin to it as an access point for my
wireless ones. I have a mix of Windows 2000, XP, and Mac OSX.
I set up the Linksys and connected the Belkin to the uplink port. I
logged into the Belkin from a wireless laptop and set it up as an access
point, changing its IP address to something in the range of the Linksys.
Now the Belkin and the computers connected to it don't show up in the
DHCP table of the Linksys. Also, I tried going back to just using the
Belkin for all the computers but can't get an IP address for it. I can
no longer log into it to change it back to a router and use it alone.
What can I do to retrieve the Belkin and to set up the network? Help!
Thanks,
Alan
