Help: How to configure Linksys WRT54G v5 / Alcatel Speedtouch Home modem / Win Xp??

Hi,

Sorry for being a newbie.

I bought a Linksys WRT54G v5.
My ISP is xs4all.
My modem is Alcatel Speedtouch Home modem (oldie).
I am using Windows xp.

For the last four days I have been struggling to get everything working.
Sometimes there is a connection. But sooner or later the connection is
ended. I have no clue how to configure the router, the modem and my
windows.

Who can help me?????
