I just upgraded my wirelss network to the "g" standard. Sine I
upgraded, I can't pull up my ReplayTV info through DVArchive v2.1.
Before the upgrade, everything was working great (I guess I shouldn't
have upgraded).
Here is my old setup (that worked):
Linksys Wireless Access Point + Cable/DSL Router - Model BEFW11S4 V.2
Linksys Wireless Bridge - Model WET11
Here is my new setup:
Netgear Wireless Access Point - Model WG602
Netgear Cable/DSL Router - Model RP614v2
Netgear Wireless Bridge - Model WGE101
OK, now here is the problem.
I have a ReplayTV 5160 hooked up to my Wireless Bridge (WGE101). The
ReplayTV has an assigned IP address of 192.168.0.215. The bridge's IP
is 192.168.0.210. My access points IP address is 192.168.0.205. And,
last by not least, my wired computer's (with the DVArchive) IP is
192.168.0.200.
I have no problem pinging my ReplayTV and Wireless Bridge from my
wired machine. In addition, my ReplayTV has no problem connecting to
my network (I used DHCP to verify that it could find the network,
etc..). So, all machines connect to the network and show up in the
"Connecting Devices" section of the router settings. However, I just
can't access my ReplayTV through DVArchive. I tried opening up the
DVR by using the "Open DVR" feature (using 192.168.0.215 port 80).
However, it times out with the following error in the event logs:
09/28 20:27:04 ERROR: Unable to fetch details for DVR 192.168.0.215:80
-- Read timed out.
I would think it has something to do with that port since I can ping
the IP but can't open port 80, no?
I just can't figure it out. I am going crazy. Just to verify that my
bridge seemed to be working, I hooked my laptop to the bridge and had
no problems accessing the network.
Here are some things I tried (that didn't work):
1) Giving all devices a static IP
2) Reseting everything multiple times
3) Using the new Wireless Bridge with my Linkysys AP/Router (to rule
out the Netgear router/AP)
4) Messed with the "Port Forwarding" feature of router. However, I
went back to my linkysys that worked and it didn't work with the
bridge still.
In summary, I really think it is my bridge. However, I just can't
figure out what. I need too know soon if I have to return it. The
return clock is ticking

Any help will be greatly apprieciated.
I'm just at a loss right now. Also, if I didn't include anything that
would have been useful for troubleshooting, please let me know.
