I had a post below about not being able to get into the router menu (Netgear
WGR614) becaase I changed the IP address; a hardware reset fixed it, and I
was able to get in via http://192.168.0.1

But once I'm in, and logut of the menu, I can never get back in again! If I
try http://192.168.0.1 it just hangs . I get " Gateway Timeout The following
error occurred: Server unreachable Please contact the administrator. "

The only way to get in is via another reset.

What am I doing wrong? The router is working fine, but I need to get access
re future changes.

Many thanks

Marvin

Your question has nothing to do with Win98 or networking.
I recommend you check the FAQs of your router - if you
have this problem then other people must have had it too.
