I installed a Belkin Wireless Router
F5D6231-4 on my main computer.
My other computer I installed the Belkin Wireless
Network Card F5D6001.
The Network Card is taking a full minute and a half
sometimes longer to load when booting the computer.
This is after everything else has loaded.
It does work fine after loading.
Both computers are WinXP home.
The problem computer WinXP Home, Dell Dimension 4100,
1.2 gig processor, 384 memory, 15 gig free hard-drive
space.
The computers are about five feet from each other,
different rooms, but same wall.
Does anyone know what could be causing this, or where to start looking?

May be a problem with the network-installation and the DHCP-Services.
Try to reinstall the network-devices.

Have a nice day,
Stefan

In the wireless card Status, if you are getting less than very good or
excellent reception, then the problem is with the signal, and that can
be improved by changing the transmitting antenna orientation, relocating
any other wireless phones/base stations/removing other electromagnetic
interference like computer monitors and the like, and making sure that
there is minimum mass (walls, bookcases, etc) in the direct line between
the two antennas.

<snip>
It's fixed. I had a wired router hooked up before. I disabled my NIC
card and all seems to be working.
Thanks again
