help adding a router to a win2000 server client

I need to add several machines in one room to a windows 2000 server based
network. There is only one network connection in this room so I want to add
a router to connect everything. I can now access the internet with each of
the machines but I cannot log into the server to gain access to the network
assets. Any ideas on how to get the computers to be able to log into the
network? I assumes its an issue with the routers firewall.

How have you set up routing? Have you configured it as a NAT router? How
have you configured DNS in the new network?
