Having trouble......

I have a netgear MR814 router and MA851 card in the lap top. They are
talking together ok but I cant get the printer working from the laptop. I
have ticked 'share printer' on the desk top but the laptop cant see the
printer. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

One other thing; can email be configured so that downloaded email on the
laptop can be seen on the desk top and vice versa?
