having trouble...need help

im having trouble with my internet. i can't log into the
net. when i look in the device manager, it says there's a
problem with the NIC card and to update the driver to fix
it. i do that, but it still doesn't work. when i look at
the network adapter, it says "NDIS.VXD device loader for
this device could not load the device driver (Code 2)".
can anyone tell me how to fix it?
