I loaded up the software for the base station and all
seemed well. I was leasing an IP address and viewing web
pages. After i rebooted i could no longer lease an IP, my
subnet changed from a 255.255.255.0 to 255.255.0.0. I
cannot connect to the base station through internet
explorer. I tried to reset the base station and modem and
both didn't seem to work. It seems that the base station
is working but the network wizard messed up my XP network
settings. I had a similar problem on a PC connected to an
MN-500. I ended up installing a different network card
and not running the wizard. Any ideas of how to get my
network card back would be great. IPCONFIG /release and
renew do not work either.

A couple of other things. My network seems to be still
messed up when i just plug in my modem straight into the
computer. I am not using the wireless option at all
either (just needed a new router with the option for
wireless when i get my laptop) I know this seems like a
general network issue but everything worked fine until i
loaded the software for the base station. I essentially
just want to get my network back in order, another network
card will not be an option in this computer since there is
no open PCI slots and i would really prefer NOT to have to
reload my OS. This just baffles me. Thanks for any help
you can give me.
