Er I wouldn't be. But at £14.70 a month I would be.

If you're in credit I'm sure they'll still take the DD.

I had a problem with BT a few months ago but they said they'd refund
me. Trouble is the bills are complex and it's not easy to tell if
they've refunded it all.

Orange overcharged me recently too. They told me they'd refund but I
have had chance to check yet.

Do you have to sell your soul for that?

Apples and pears here, or what?

George, does that £19.00 include broadband?

Brightside, what does your £14.70 buy you?

I was pretty pleased to get the max.broadband (though not Infinity,
which we can't get); calls on the same basis as George; and BT Vision;
for £19.00 a month.

But that doesn't include line rental, where I'm doing the 'pay £120 and
get a year's worth' deal.

The above saving me £25-£45 a quarter on what I was paying before,
counting in my normal call usage, *and* giving me one notch better
broadband, where I was in danger of blowing the 50GB limit on the middle
broadband offering.

Did you guys do much better, for much less?

For BT line rental:-
£10 / month paid 1 year in advance.
Unlimited calls UK geographic, 0845 and 0870:-
£4.70 / month paid by DD quarterly.

Overseas and mobiles:- call18185.

Premium rate calls barred.

Only 0844 calls cost money, but a geographic or 0800 number is usually
available from www.saynoto0870.co.uk

Broadband additionally on top of all that but wouldn't touch BT. I use
a supplier that uses LLU equipment in the exchange. Of course since I
have a BT line rented from BT my choice of ISP is not restricted!

well I pay £10.22 per month.

Plus PAYG phone charges.

Typically less than £15/month.

And I don't have to deal with BT!!!

VOIP phone is additional - straight no renal cost and PAYG at similar
call charges to the above.

I do pay a lot for my broadband, Maybe £25 a month, but its fast and
unthrottled and I get the speed I want at 40GB/month daytime limits.

and lots more off peak. I could probably downgrade a package level and
save money to 15 quid a month tho.

I hate those 0844 numbers. They have different prices and not all
have a geographic equivalent on saynoto.
