I've had a MN 700 for couple weeks. It worked fine for a
while. Now for the last several days everytime I boot up
the internet connection fails. I have to reset the base
station and then it connects. I've also seen this happen
without rebooting. It just loses the connection and I
have to reset the base station. (I have checked all the
physical connections). Any ideas? Thanks

Are you current with the latest firmware from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/br...Downloads.aspx
And, instead of rebooting the base station, have you tried rebooting your
modem? It may not be the MN-700 at all, but your ISP changing your IP if
you're on a dynamic IP.

The real anser (God Chris) is that there is a known issue
with the MSN-700 that many people are having. It has
nothign to do with ISP changing addresses. This should
not affect the router even if it was true.
Call Microsoft and tell them the problem force them to
open a ticket this is the only what it will get fixed.

Right, anonymous poster, I should have just told Stuart to call product
support instead of trying to ask questions and make suggestions to find out
information and help him. That would be real friendly and a whole lot of
assistance.

Real easy to take potshots at people when you post as an anonymous person,
huh? Why don't you post using a real news reader and your real name?
