Hi all,

I have a small business operating from home. I am now using Microsoft MN-520
to do the job and is considering upgrade. We have two issues with Microsoft
Router:

1. I can not replace the antena;
2. We have trouble getting the VPN set up. It seems that the router has to
opent both the TCP port 1723 and IP protocol ID 47 (GRE). There is no way to
do it on MN-520.

I am a newbie to the routing protocols. Also I can not afford to hire an
expert to do the job. Do not want to buy a high-end router since I have no
knowledge configuring it. I want a wireless router which can do the two
things. Anyone can recommend one?

Thanks,

Jack

I actually set up earlier a PTPP VPN using port TCP/1723 on
the MN-500 between two XP computers (one using a 520). You
need to use persistent port forwarding and open port 1723.
On the VPN server select specifically PTPP.
