Hardware Regarding Problem

Dear sir,

There are some problem in my system like it should Restart
Automatically When i want to install some program & also when i am
doing some work on system and some time hung when i am lessening
songs.

Can any tell me the solution without formating & reinstalling the
windows.

I am using windows XP .
