Hello,
I am looking for some hardware recommendations to replace the hardware I
currently have. My network has kind of outgrown itself, and has been
becoming more and more unreliable as I add equipment to it. I'm looking to
replace my gateway/router as well as my 5-port switch. Here's what I am
planning to replace:

Linksys BEFSR41
Linksys 5-port Auto-sensing Switch

I am looking to get something that's more of a business-class selection. I
need something that's rock solid and has great transfer speeds and uptime.
For a router, I was looking at either the Netgear RT614 or the RP314, but
I'm always open to suggestions.

Thanks,
Robert

P.S. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend, and I'll probably have to
sell the stuff I have to get new stuff, so please resist the temptation to
recommend only Cisco hardware.

I'd keep that router and just upgrade to a managed switch. We've run a
server on that router and it's pretty reliable.

I'd recommend that Alcatel 6024 managed switch as we run three of those on
our network now and they are LOADED with features.
