Hard one, NAT and web browsing 2003 server

I have set up server 2003 enterprise. I have DHCP
installed and running fine. Next I followed the white
pages to the "t" and installed NAT/Basic firewall. My
internal network can use network neighborhood to access
all PCs and server but can not get online. My server can
get online? Under NAT/Basic firewall the total mappings
and inbound packets transfered read "0" for both wan and
lan. I have wan and lan set up as private internal
connection and public connection. I did have this working
one time, seemed easy enough, so I messed around with the
server and then reinstalled it. Now I have reinstalled
(formatted) 4 times and can not get this simple set up to
work.
Please email me if you can help me fix this. ANY help is
greatly appreciated because there is no way I can solve
this problem on my own (I have tried everything). I have
been all over the web for 4 days and have yet to find a
solution or a person with enough knowledge to help.
Thank you
Si

Can you reach the internet from the server?

Sorry, I missed that the server is reaching the internet fine.

Sounds like a DNS problem to me. Do you have DNS set up and do you show a
forward lookup to your ISP's DNS servers?

In addition to having the forwarders set up as Jeff suggested, check that
the clients actually have your local DNS server set as their DNS address.
Also check that the clients receive the server's LAN IP as their default
gateway.
