Hang in receiving and sending email

When the network runs 4 to 5 days, the outlook will slow
down and hang in receiving and sending mail. At this time
the internet service is OK. In order to fix outlook, I
need to restart the modem and router to make it smooth
again.

1. Simple network with ADSL modem, boardband router & 6
computers(XP) connect in switch.
2. Virus free and i have renewed the high performance
switch and router. But the problem still going on.

Pls help me!!

That's an Outlook issue, MK, and you should post to one of the Outlook or
Office newsgroups. Make sure to give them information about which version
you're running and what updates you've applied from office.microsoft.com.
