I'm sorry if I'm posting this to an incorrect group. I searched the
available groups, and this one seemed to be the closest to my topic of
the ones I could find.

I'm getting ready to head overseas for some business, and would like
to keep in touch with my family and some business associates back
home. The problem is, while telephones are in short supply where I'll
be, I will be working with a fiber-based (more-than-likely a T3)
network. I'd like to find a H323 server package that I can also get
both Linux and Windows XP Client software for.

My reason for this is my company at home (I don't have to worry about
getting permission there to do this), has 3 Fedora servers with a T1
direct connection to the Internet. Some of the people I'd like to
discuss issues with are using Fedora - other's are using XP (I use
both depending on what I'm doing).

Anyway - does anyone have any decent suggestions regarding what to use
in this situation? Thank you!

Bob Wiley

An H323 server is not mandatory, but may help to pass firewall and manage
many client in a local network. It's realy on option :

- H323Gatekeeper/OpenH323 : http://www.openh323.org/

One of the best clients :

- GnoMeeting : http://www.gnomemeeting.org/

Regards
