GPO to disabled 1394 net adapter

I'd like to disabled net adapter via GPO on XP pro clients, specialy 1394
firewire connection. Is there a way ?

Hello luc,

I think you can use Group policy preferences, therefore you need a Vista/server2008
machine for configuration and you have to isntall the client side extensions
on the computers.

Download and install RSAT on Vista/2008:

RSAT 32bit:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

RSAT 64bit:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Then open Control Panele, Programs and features, Turn windows features on
or off, check the tools you like under "Remote Server Administration Tools"


CSE XP 32bit:

CSE 2003 32 bit:
