Got Senmail working, Now I'm stumped on qpopper

I have installed qpopper3.1.2 and 4.0.5 to try and get my email from my
windows box. Is there any thing that needs to be done in order to bind it
to the sendmail? I installed and brought up qpopper through xinetd and got
it running. I was able to telnet into it but when I try to access my email
it rejects my username/password. Naturally it rejects my windows desktop
username/password combo as well. There is so little information out there
that I have been able to find to help out with this. Does the pop3 server
have it's own username password system? I figured that the accounts that I
created on my system should be valid, as I can access email using elm. What
am I missing here?

Regards,

Sean
