Hi,
I am in a university setting and would like to use Gossiptel Xten lite
client. However, my Uni blocked all of the ports. I have success
getting my IM to work using HTTP tunnel.

However, can I setup Xten Lite client to use the http tunnel services
using SOCKS5 configuration settings?

Thank you.

Kind regards,
George B.

You can only use that if you have a SOCKS server on your (presumably
university) network - which is unlikely.

You may be able to use STUN - but if the university has blocked the STUN
port, you're probably getting to be out of options.

it would be a good idea to ask this question on the gossiptel support
forums - www.gossiptel.com/forums .
