Good source for LinkSys 5.5db antennas?

I recently purchased a LinkSys BEFW11S4 v.4 router, and of course it comes
with the dual standard antennas. Apparently by replacing the stock antennas
with the larger size 5.5db units there is a 3db or so gain. The replacement
antennas appear to be about twice the size as the existing ones.

Is there a good (re: cheap) source for these antennas, either new or used?
I've also read there are 9db antennas out there somewhere as well.

===================================
Radio Shack sells them at 29 bucks for the pair.... And I also saw only
marginal.... if any improvement....when used
only with the AP...

HOWEVER I also purchased a Linksys signal booster
which when combined with the 5 db antennas does make a difference...

By which I mean using the 5 db antennas
DID make an improvement over the 2.5 db antenna WHEN using the booster

I am using all Linksys "stuff"...running "G" and the booster
is the new one which ONLY LISTS its use for "B"....

Anyway my Laptop now is functional out in my wood shop 200 foot from the
house... signal is good to very good ... speed is another question however
but in my case not much of a concern...

This sounds very interesting. I've a befws41 v2 with the booster and would
like to try this.

Do you have a part number? I just looked on the radio shack web site and
didn't find any antennas when I did a search for 5.5db.

Thanks

Picked up those RS antennas last night, and they work as advertised --
approx. 50% increase in signal strength. Local store had them for $29.95 a
pair.

My house must be filled with aluminum or something, because adding the
antennae and the booster to the Linksys WRT54G did little for my signal
strength (Dell Inspiron 4150 with Truemobile 1300 miniPCI 802.11g card).
Granted the router is in the basement, but my B setup seemed so much better
(WAP11 v1.1 boosted to 100mW, Truemobile 1180 802.11b miniPCI). I'm sending
the Linksys router back and will try Buffalo Wireless since they have
repeaters.
