I use the following router:

NETGEAR WGR614 IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.11b/g Wireless Router

I need to extend my range within my home. What would be a very good
repeater to use ?

Has anyone here used a repeater with this router ? I would prefer to use a
Netgear repeater (stay with same brand), but I am confused when I look at
their products, and don't know how to choose.

I will appreciate any comments !!

Hi
Netgear sells a device that they call Wireless Extender Model WGXB102. This
device Extend the range through the home power lines (110VAC), and transmit
the Wireless at the "end of the line". I am not going to analyze here
PowerLine Networking, it not popular in the USA, and I personally would not
recommend it.
Netgear sells an 802.11g Access Point (WG602 54) that can be configured as a
repeater and should Repeat Wirelessly with the WGR14.
Look at these pages they describe most of the options that are within the
means of Entry Level users, and choose the one that fits you environment
best.

Jack, thank you so much ! I will read the cites. I had read about the
extender that is done through the home wiring, and I saw a lot of user
complaints about that specific model.

I look forward to reading the cites you gave me !
