Gigabyte GN-WIAG card bugs

Anybody else have one of these cards? The GN-WIAG is an 802.11b/g card
for notebooks made by Gigabyte. Basically it seems to work, but there
are bugs in the setup and software.

Initially I set it up for WEP using the zero configuration of windows
XP. That worked but everytime I rebooted, the check box for 'Use
windows to configure' in wireless would turn off and the connection
wouldn't happen until I went in and turned it back on.

Because of this I decided to use the setup features in the utility
software from Gigabyte to define my connection (SSID, WEP). After
doing it this way I got it working dependably.

Today I decided to set it up using WPA-PSK. The configuration utility
had the proper settings available so I used that. The card would
sort-of connect but not right. It never received an IP. So I decided
to try using XP to configure the prefered connection for WPA. That
worked fine. Only problem is that reboot problem was back. Eventually
I figured out that the card utility program was in the list of
programs to start automatically at boot. I removed that and now
everything works.

Bummer that I can't run the utility because it had some nice
monitoring and survey features.

I had reported some of these problems to Gigabyte before, but they
blew me off -- seemed to think these were not problems. Here's my list
as of now:

1) The utility won't allow windows to be in charge if you run it in
the normal mode.

2) If you use the card's configuration utilities, you can't change or
modify configurations UNLESS you have the card enabled and
transmitting. If you turn off the card you can't change settings.

3) I can't get WPA to work using the configuration through the card
utilities. It works through windows, but see #1.

So I like the performance of the card but their software is broken.
Does anyone have ideas how I can convince Gigabyte that they have
problems that need fixing?
