Good morning,

I have a windows 2003 server as well as a number of PC's and have
recently upgraded to a gigabit switch.

The problem is that even though I have a gigabit NIC - Broadcom
netxtreme gigabit, with the latest drives, the best speed I have
showing in the cards properties the best speed I have showing is
100mbps full... This is replicated on my Windows XP machines which also
have the broadcom netxtreme gigabit card...

The switch is autosensing at 100mbps only as well...

what cableing do you have? gigabit needs cat 5e (anything below that may
not support gigabit speeds) The switches are autosensing and forcing it
to a speed it can not negotiate will only cause issues. Try a different
cable, with the same switch and computer.
