Win XP Home, WPA-PSK wireless network.
Is it advisable to do the Bindings adjustments as described on the
grc.com Steve Gibson site? Or is this only necessary on the older NT and
9x products which his page describes?
http://www.grc.com/su-rebindingnt.htm

Many thanks.

I don't think that any of those suggestions are advisable or
necessary, even if they're possible in Win XP. I certainly wouldn't
install the Loopback Adapter or the un-supported NetBEUI protocol.

Your wireless router acts as a firewall, preventing Internet hackers
from accessing your computers. Enabling the Windows Firewall, with
exceptions for File and Printer Sharing on your network (if desired),
adds a second level of protection.
