We have been using Norton ghost to make backups of machines on our
production floor for the past two years with our win 2k DC. We have recently
upgraded that DC to win server 2003, and now I can not log on to the network
backup drive where we store the images. I keep getting access denied, but
when I look in the security log it says that the logon was successful. So I
am not sure why it wont let us in. any one have an idea?

TIA
Josh

"Logon" with what? The DOS Ghost Client? It won't work well,..don't use
it. Use GhostSrv,..it is the Server version of Ghost (GhostCast Server).
You load it on the Server and run it,...set up the Session. Then connect to
the Session with the Ghost Client by choosing Unicast.

You have to have the real version of Ghost,...not the "home user" version.

Server2003 doesn't allows DOS, Win3.1, Win3.11, Win95, and NT4 pre-sp3 to
connect to it without modifications.

I meant the Ghost DOS Client with a "mapped drive".
You still use the same Ghost DOS Client with the GhostCast Server and it is
fine.
