getting a new router

I need to get a new router/firewall, maybe someone can point me to the right
model. I don't particularly care about the cost though I don't want to spend
any more than necesary. Here are my requirements...

- It has to be able to put through 7Mb/s
You'd think that every "10Mb/sec" router would actually be able to handle
7Mb, but it's not true.

- I want FTP, VPN, and online games hosting to work
Another thing my existing router/firewall doesn't do well or not at all.

- Not wireless
