I've signed up for the £40 4mb ADSL LLU on Bulldog. I still have to
wait for them to cease pipex and put on Bulldog.
I've got a couple of questions though.

Bulldog will give me one bill for phone calls, line rental and ADSL.
1. Can I still use 1899, 18866 and the other ISVR companies operating
on the short codes? I wouldn't want to use the 0800 number.

2. Bulldog say Callsign isn't available, is this true?

3. Will I be losing any special BT features by going over to Bulldog?

4. When I dial 100 for the operator, do I go to C&W's operator
service?

tough. No CPS or indirect access, only 0800 access.

its their system, if they don't know ......
(its not listed as an add-on service)

all of them. There might be a Bulldog equivalent.
http://www.bulldogbroadband.com/resi...ne_package.asp
no voicemail 1571 services as yet.

pass. Ask them.

Not being funny or anything, but these are the sorts of things you should have
checked with Bulldog before signing up with them.

You got there first - why oh why do people sign up to things without
checking the most basic issues? No doubt a follow up post to uk.legal
in a few weeks on how to cancel the contract early.

Well I checked about Callsign. I had a look at the adslguide forums
and I've found out bulldog don't provide Caller Display! I hope 1471
will still work. I'll put up with it as it's 4mb ADSL for £30 a month,
line rental is bundled in for £10 so it's £40 a month for ADSL and
Voice. It's only a one month contract and I think bulldog have fixed
most issues about speed.

If its only a one month contract then its not a major problem, you can cancel if
the package is not right. But do yourself a favour a check beforehand next time
as you may find a supplier is missing a vital element you need and you could be
tied to a years contract. Not trying to sound offish or nasty, just that people
will and do get caught out by not checking things first.
