Getting the most distance of my wireless router

I have a small 2 story house and at many point, far and close, I loose
signal strength with my Linksys G router. I have a Dell Truemobile 1300 and
it is sporadic in these areas. I have the router next to my computer and
wonder if there is something I can do to increase this signal.

If the WAP is toward one end of the building, you can use reflectors to
avoid wasting the signal outside, and provide more signal where you want
it. Free, fairly simple.
